Wiper motor wiring

My best suggestion is to hook up the wiper motor, for the originality police, etc, and use Rain X. The wiper system is worthless, the blades do not have enough tension on them, and at times they do not go fast enough. Rain X is the only way to go in the rain, also if you are driving in the snow, and it is below freezing, forget the wipers.

Cheers Dean

It's a liquid that you rub onto your windshield, wait until it hazes over, then buff well. It causes water to bead up and run off very easily. In theory it lets you do without winshield wipers most of the time. Some people swear by it, others swear at it. I'm in the latter category. I find that on a rainy night the beaded-up rain refracts the light from oncoming headlights to such an extent that it blinds me. I have trouble with glare on rainy nights anyway, so maybe my problem with RainX is really a problem with my eyes. I use it on side and rear glass, but not on the windshield. RainX is carried by most auto supply stores here in the states. Don't know if you can get it up there in Canada. -- Chip Old 1948 M.G. Jennifer

Rain X is a product sold in the states at most auto parts stores, hardware stores, k mart wall mart etc, it is in a yellow and black plastic bottle/container, it is clear, you wipe it on your wind screen and the rain drops just fly off, the faster you go, the better up to a point, works much better than wiper blades, the sun and rain does a number on it after awhile and you just wipe it on again. Also another good use for it is if you windscreen has frost on it, turn you wipers on and it flick the frost off. Also bug do not stick to you windscreen as good, anything on your windscreen is easily to wipe off. I use it on all of my regular cars, put it on your headlight to make bug removal easy, also chrome in the front area of your car (bugs).

Cheers Dean

My best suggestion is to hook up the wiper motor, for the originality police, etc, and use Rain X. The wiper system is worthless, the blades do not have enough tension on them, and at times they do not go fast enough. Rain X is the only way to go in the rain, also if you are driving in the snow, and it is below freezing, forget the wipers.

Rain-X works great. I have seen it in England, so surely Canada has the stuff. We use it on aircraft windshields. Works great! Best, Ray
