Does any one know where to get the Lucas KOR ( King of the Road ) bakelite battery covers for the TA and TB six volts. I have one and would like another. These were also used on many other MGs including K3, SA, WA and if I am not mistaken MGA as well as Jaguar XK 120s ? You can see these in many factory photos. I also have a friend who needs the tool box clips for his TA ...I seem to remember that the original manufacturer is still making these for luggage...who might that be ?
Cheers,
John

John,
Dont know about the battery cover but please see Octagon Car Club
spares (
http://www.mgoctagoncarclub.com/spares/body.htm)item SBY 152,
for toolbox clips, I assume you mean the clips for the tools rather
than the clips that hold the toolbox lid shut?
I have not seen these clips so usual disclaimers apply.

Question, to use the reproduced Battery Covers, does one need "eared"
batteries, original Lucas stype batteries or ?? I've been using MGA 6v
"eared" batteries in my TA for a number of years.

I do not think so as on the jag the J hooks go to the battery box, but I am sure all on this list use earred batteries.
