Help Needed

Dear Listers,
I'm rebuilding the spare gearbox for TC1459, but I've got a small problem. I'm missing the 3rd/4th gear selector fork: the forging that actually does the gear engaging. Does anyone have a spare one? Its a good 'box and otherwise all there.
Regards,
Mark
P.S. in case anyone's scratching their head over how it got lost, the gearbox has been dismantled for about 20 years, with the guts residing in a slowly-collapsing plastic bucket! Its also moved home about three times in that period. There's a moral there somewhere.

Mark, When I rebuilt my gearbox last year, the selector fork was pretty worn. Instead of messing around and trying to get it rebuilt, I ordered a new one from Abingdon Spares. I didn't even investigate to see if repair was possible. Regards, Charles Hill

Hello Group, is there anybody around who can help me where to get the "old-fashioned" relays that govern the brake/indicator functions on LED fitted D-lamps? The modern electronic Moss etc. ones don't work on pos. ground MG TC's, where braking- and traffic-lights are combined including a warning light on the dash. Am no expert on car electricity and would appreciate some advice. Thanks Dirk TC 0660 Hamburg

Attachments : Re: [mg-tabc] Help needed Bob,  Yahoo has redesigned their Yahoo pages, and it seems they have been slowly reassigning people to the new format over quite some time.  Jim Shade alerted me to this a couple years ago when they switched him over but I had not yet.  Sounded like a mess and was glad I was on the old format, but eventually I got switched over too (not by choice). Try this address:  https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/mg-tabc/info I show you still registered with the Yahoo group and in good standing as evidenced by the fact that you message went out to the group. Please note that this has nothing to do with the TABC site: http://www.mg-tabc.org/ The group message part of the group for those still hanging on to that, is the only thing we keep the Yahoo part of the group  for.
