Re: Gas stabilizer
Michael & All:
I have been using gas stabilizer for years in everything I own that has a gas engine. I usually turn the engine over a few revolutions with the ignition off then turn the key. Always get an instant start. This includes my snow blower which sits in a hot shed all summer. Always starts instantly. I don't know what the stuff is but it sure works.

Re: Gas Stabilizer
Hans,
It's a petrol (or gasoline) additive which, according to a chemist chum,
retains the oomph in petrol which otherwise evaporates or changes
composition over an extended length of time.
I'm sure that the Badger has an amusing alternative answer to the question!

Re: Gas Stabilizer
Its quite useful for adding on the last run before winter storage
to aid startup 4-6 months later.
Its most available source seems to be in Garden LawnMower outlets!

Gas stabilizer
Japan Pharmaceutical Co. is marketing a tablet called "Pippi".
Now, that's what you get after stabilising gas.
