I can't take it anymore....my two cents
I loved Badger's comment today: >it's a bunch of guys who love cars getting together over a couple of virtual beers. How the Hell can you imagine that the world's longest marathon game of MG Trivial Pursuit could possibly be tolerable without anyone ever cracking a smile or poking fun or expressing an opinion contrary to your own rigid one I know most of you could care less but *EMAILS*: I receive an average of 25 to 30 emails a day at work, most of which require me to do some kind of work or research so I can respond. They're a pain in the butt but help keep me gainfully employed during a 9 hour workday. I receive an average of 50 emails a day in my mailbox here at home. A good number of these are from the T-ABC group. Depending on the number of pictures in the emails they might take 3 minutes to download on a 56K modem and I can get thru them in about 10 minutes. If there's something there that I'm interested enough in to respond to, or can help answer, you can add another 10 minutes - but altogether I probably don't spend 30 minutes of my time on T-ABC, personal, or spam email. Good lord, how can anyone call that a waste of time? And which do I prefer? The MG-TABC stuff of course!!!! It's interesting, it's informative, and John has finally convinced me that maybe those tank tops were silver on certain of the T-series. I'm sure I'll learn more as the years go on - some I'll be interested in, some I'll just read and trash, but all will add to my knowledge of my favorite kinda car. Gene Gillam
