Dear group: I am finally seriously at work on TC2481's restoration and need either an original black wheel or a three spoke chrome with gold rim wheel restored. I have a memory of a person being mentioned who does this. Can you help me? Tom Pike TC2481

I had a 3 spoke wheel in bad condition on my TC. I managed to make it look quite smart by wrapping it in 2-3mm diamater cord as many of the 30s cars had. It wasn't as easy as it sounds and I made some stainless clips to allow it to wrap the wheel at the point the spokes join it. That way it covers the wheel consistently all the way around.
