Dear Lads and Lassies; In a vain attempt to purchase some British car body flags,I have the following critique: (A) -Moss Motors, the most expensive, were the worst. Gawdy, Oversized, made in the UK. The St George Cross was Cloisonne but the St Andrew Cross was primarily Chrome.Must be appealing to the Calif market in Mother Moss land. The blue was a purple enamel. Tried to give them away to a neighbor for his TD, was politely rejected. ( B) Just received set from Triple-C after asking if they were Cloisonne- they weren't. Made up of Pocked Marked enamel paint and not clear coated to at least emulate cloisonne. Size was good The Blue was purple but at least they had they had the correct St Andrew Cross. Does anyone know of a source of Quality British Body Flags-Or an old set that used to be Quality. Tally Ho! Thom Collins

Because it's a good deal more dignified than that glorified shop-rag that you're waving. The best part about that is the bit in the top left-hand corner!! So there! David Lodge (a Pom - and proud of it!) Murray Arundell wrote:
