For those struggling thru ash dust-and in particular the doors- I picked up a neat tabletop combination belt / disc sander by Craftsman at Sears. It allows the belt (4" wide!) to be used vertically or horizontally, with an adjustable support table to hold the work while you sand it. The disc wheel is on the other side, and can use the same support. And on sale at $99, who can complain. All disclaimers apply, no personal interest in Sears.
