Economy Tires

Greetings, While I have no financial interest in the following matter, I just noticed Coker Tire is offering an economy tire for $58.00US. Tire size is 475/500-19. This is neither an original tire, nor one suitable for a Pebble Beach Queen, but it might fit the bill for someone on a budget. Go to http://www.coker.com/default.asp and then click on "Sales and Clearance" for more information. If anyone has experience on this "no-name" tire, please report to the list. Thanks, Bruce Woodson Richmond, VA

Bruce, They are "Gabriel" tires and I bought a set about three months ago. I like 'em - they're black, round, and fit on my 19" wire rims. Don't race 'em, just drive around on 'em, and they're suitable for that. Gene Gillam Saucier, MS TC7872 XPAG 8659

I have heard from some that the coker tire is a good economy substitute for the Dunlop. Is coker going to stop making this tire?
