I have a 1938 TA Tickford that was purchased in UK in June 1964 with Registration
plate number FNJ746. Is there any way to find the source of that number to get
more history of the TA.
Thanks

Carlyle, my computer sez this: FNJ746 was registered before Feb 1963 in
Brighton, UK
Roger Furneaux might be able to add a little.....but the chassis files for
the T types were distroyed I believe.

Carlyle,
according to Newreg ..
http://www.newreg.com
the number was issued by East Sussex County Council in 1950
if the records for this office still survive, you may get the
original registration details
