Lets Clean up Our List

Come on Listers...Lets keep this an MGTABC thing.
Our list is very international and I for one, have zero interest in your
virus problems, your US vehicle licensing problems, Osama Bin
Laden, human remains disposal etc. Now we are getting into USA
drivers license problems - where's the TABC connection????
I haven't started counting, but in every List Digest received recently,
I guess that more than half the messages have zero to do with the
TABCs and are little more than spam . I have to wade thru them
and numerous complete copies of all previous correspondence on
the subject in case I miss something useful. Why not just copy the
first few lines of what the last guy said.
My final grouse for today is the way some of you guys knock other
people. I don't know much about Dick Knudsen or the NEMG thing
but I don't think that our list should lower itself to petty griping
about particular individuals in public. The same goes for the anti
Barry W. clique. Some of us do good business with him. There is
no place for this sort of thing among MG folk. Humour is great but
public flogging went out years ago.

I fully agree with Viv. We are basically all busy, so it's wasting
time to read unnecessary mails, furthermore we got virus from them.
It's silly, isn't it?

Hurrah! Very well said. I applaud your comments and echo my own
sentiments -- I usually delete 99% of the messages from this group as
they contain mostly drivel. Fortunately, the 1% useful information is
there and I save and print it

The other good news is that today's
emails to the list contain NO extraneous garbage!!! I am very
pleased!!!!!!

Lets Clean up Our List
Hi all,
for me it's fun to follow side discussions. Please don't stop them. Because then I know that many MG friends out there are having humor. That makes me proud to be one of them. I'm an electrical engineer and at my workplace we also have a lot of fun and not only technical discussions. Without fun the job would be boring! Isn't fun the essence of life? From the simple business standpoint buying a MG T model makes non sense. But it's fun! And you MG fellows hopefully do NOT loose your humor! (Am I correct Badger??)
BTW: Discussion about the last storage of the disposals of an MG enthusiast has something to do with MG. It shows how people love this hobby. And it is a hobby and not a job (for most of us).
Best regards from Bavarian Winter (TC6325 is waiting for dry weather)

I think Viv makes a very good point, but so does Peter Forstner. Fact - our list is international, but that makes it special as, whilst we may be more concerned with T-ABCs than virus or US vehicle licensing problems, Osama Bin Laden and human remains disposal, etc., I also enjoy learning a bit about both the eccentric and the normal folk who are the present custodians of these wonderful cars. That said, I agree that there is a lot of bull disseminated on this list - so casting caution to the wind, I dedicate the following (plagarised of course!) to any "lister" who recently experienced some virus infection: WARNING: T-ABC Computir Virus
I have just sent you the "T-ABC VIRUS". Since I do not have any programming experience and do not know how to actually damage your computer, this Virus works on the honour system. Please forward this Virus to everyone on your mailing list and then manually delete all of the files on your hard drive. Thank you for your co-operation.

Lets Clean up Our List Lets not lose our sense of humour, but sticking conisters of our mortal remains on TCs is losing our sense of reality. Could be some amongst us have LOTS of spare time on their hands.......
