G'day Jim,
Don't know if you've seen the November edition of 'Classic and Sportscar' magazine from the UK, in which is the editorial team's short appraisal of the duo-green Tickford offered for sale by Barry Walker.
Thought I'd mention it in case it's of interest to anyone with a spare 30k quid spare.
What comments from the UK team on this particular TA?
Best regards to all for the festive season from us down here preparing to swelter in the Oz summer!

I have some pictures of this car from my recent trip to England if anyone is interested. I'm not an expert on TAs or Tickfords, but I will say, it is a very nice vehicle. Doug Pulver TC 5850

It probably looks nice in pics, but close-up there are lots of little things wrong... The thing is, when someone spends what was obviously a lot of money to restore, why don't they just go that extra half mile and get it right??? Don't take my word for it, but that of Dieter Wagner in Germany, who has just sold the Tickford that he restored. Dieter is a perfectionist, and spent a lot of time getting all the trim details, etc, as perfect as possible. I suggest that anyone else doing a Tickford contact Bill Hentzen (his TB is arguably the best in the world). Bill provided me with a sheaf of photos of his car, which I lend out to anyone in the UK who wants to see how it should be done! ocTagonally Roger Furneaux TC0978 TC2365
