mg-tabc without e-mail (and without attachment)
For all, who do not want to get e-mails, but want to have access to the e-mails through Yahoo Groups. This is the way through the Yahoo jungle:
http://groups.yahoo.com/
>>> User-ID & Password >>> [Sign In] (on the right side)
(on the left side)
(on the right side)
Change "Message Delivery" to "No email"
Best regards

Hear Hear Peter
this is without doubt the best way, it also has the advantage that
you can see any attachments if they are present, you can see the size
of those attachments, together with there titles, and most
importantly, you can choose, whether or not, to download / open those
attachments.
Furthermore, you can see the entire message list in chronological
order, see a list of all replies to a message and thereby follow the
thread, as well as have access to the database of files, photos,
members, etc all from one page.
In addition you can choose to have a "daily digest" .. one email per
day from the Yahoo mg-tabc group which gives a brief list of message
titles, author and subject.
For some of you, the downside appears to be the fact that you have to
get through the process of setting up your user id and password that
Peter refers to, clearly reading the comments about this subject
there are listers who have just given up on this one. a pity there
appears to be this difficulty, as it is well woth it if you can crack
it.

If one can access Yahoo Groups and do what is said below that would
be nice. You can even post the photos in the photo section rather
than attach them to your email. But as stated before Yahoo has
frustrated many a member to give up and so not everyone would have
access. Perhaps an easier (?) way would be to have some method of
posting pictures on our regular TABC web site. Then emails could
just refer to the posted pictures with a link. Walter, is there
some way we can do this that wouldn't swamp you with alot of upkeep
since right now we would have to send the picture to you and then you
would have to post them?
And while on the subject, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU Jim and
Walter for putting the list and web site together. It really has
added a new dimention to enjoying my TC. I really enjoy all this.

as David says, as well as the points made earlier, you can upload
from 1-6 pictures (max total size 5mb) per submission, and also have
the facility to specify whether they are viewed at small medium or
large size... all this from the Yahoo mg-tabc home page
