Does any one know roughly how much lubricant the TC steering box holds? I like Roger Furneaux's example of a hole drilled in the steering column and adding lubricant until it drips out the hole, but am philosophically opposed to drilling the TC anywhere non-original. Cheers, John TC 0301

John, I removed the oil plug (greaser?) on the cam box cover plate, and repeatedly syringed oil into the hollow bolt until it started to seep out the top of the hollow bolt. As the oil would be level, all of the internal parts would be covered, and some of the lower steering tube as well. (note how long the hollow bolt is!). Replace oil plug and that was it. No idea on capacity. DAI --- JohnHWSteedman@aol.com wrote: > Does any one know roughly how much lubricant the TC
