List of all know TC's
In a message dated 11/04/2001 Rolland Meisrmer (rameismer@aol.com) asked:
"-- has anyone a list of all known TCs --"
Jerry Austin (jdaustinmg@cyberhotline.com) of the Vintage MG Club of Southern California (http://vintagemg.com) is accumulating such a list.

Re: List of all know TC's
I applaud Jerry for taking on the task of listing TC's (and other models?)
So how is Jerry getting the entries for the list? Pulling the info
off the TABC list is a good start but will he contact other clubs? I
know of quite a few TC's from the TC Motoring Guild that are not on
our TABC list (and they have received notice about the list so it is
not because of a lack of knowledge).
I know of one other TC owner that I believe isn't in any club nor
participates at the GoF.
Should everyone contact Jerry now or wait for wait for specific
instructions as to what info is needed (i.e. address, phone,
paint/upholstery color, previous owners if known, etc)
As TC's are being bought and sold, how will the list be kept current?
I am Cc'ing this message to Jerry (he is not on our list) and will
forward any response that I recieve to the group.

Re: List of all know TC's
OK gang, Jerry opened up the door for us to send him information on
our TC's so he can add it to the master list. You don't need to give
him the info that is already listed on our TABC site about your car
but if you can add to the info then pass it on to him. Be sure to
look at the TABC site http://mg-tabc.org and check the info on the
Membes link to be sure it is current. When Jerry made reference to
me living in La Mesa, it dawned on me that I hadn't notified Jim
Shade that I had moved to El Cajon recently.
Be sure to give him your TC chassis number in addition to the new
info so he knows which TC you are giving info on (especially if you
own more than one).
TC chassis #
Engine #
Year
Body color
Upholstery color
Present shape (well worn in, racing, show, basket case, ??)
Modifications done (supercharged, 1500 cc, Datsun steering, cycle fendered, ??)
Purchase date
Current owner
address, city, state, zip
email address
Previous owners if know
Current clubs that MG belongs to (includes our TABC group)

Phone: (714) 995-4523
Email: busydeea@cyberhotline.com
Be sure to get your club newsletters to print this so that those
without web or email access can participate. If you know of any TC
owners not in a club then try to get them to participate just so we
have a record of known TC's.
Jerry didn't say which model MG's he was collecting data on but am
bet it is at least TF and earlier. Check with him if you have
something newer.
Jerry, I know the next question someone will ask is: "Can I get a
copy of the data base?" Be prepared for that.
Thanks again and I will pass my current info under seperate email,
