MG TC Gas Caps

All, My car, TC #3443, has an aftermarket replacement locking gas cap installed on the gas tank. The replacement is attached to the tank filler neck with at least three screws. I do not know if the DPO who installed this cap ruined the filler neck for retrofitting an original cap and lever. The replacement cap is currently functional and unobtrusive. However, I would like to replace this gas cap with an original cap and lever at some point in the future. Therefore, I am looking for an original gas cap assembly including the cap itself, the operating lever, and the filler neck that is attached to the tank. I would prefer to have an original; however, ... Moss Motors sells a replacement gas cap assembly (Moss Part No. 407-100) with a threaded sleeve (filler neck?) that is welded in place of the original tank neck.
