steerimg, stoppimg and staying alive

Post by Jeff & Merryl Redman » Fri Sep 28, 2001 12:12 pm

G'day Dave, 'Been entertained watching from the sidelines. To quote Harry Pyle, (who's probably put up more miles in a TC than the rest of us combined)re mods to the final drive and the steering : "The Morris 4.5:1 diff saves the CAR'S life... the Datto steering box saves YOUR life." Having a foot in both camps with an TA that's authentic to the last nut & bolt and a TC that's much modified - I can sure tell which is the most fun to drive! We have a loony down here who wants to horsewhip anyone who dares to play around with the standard TC's steering He's never driven a modified car. Refuses, point blank. I suppose it's a bit like being born in jail. Mods are fine ---- so long as they are discreet. Jeff TA2822 TC3306
