Americas Finest Hour

This could be America's finest hour.
The people who did this horrible act did not discriminate against black or
white, liberal or conservative, Democrat or Republican, Christian or Jew, man
or woman.
They have brought our country together in a way that no other situation could
have.
Their attempt to strike at the heart of our country was a feeble attempt to
wound us, it only succeeded in strengthening our resolve to put an end, once
and for all, all those cowardly groups who dare attack innocent people
anywhere, for any reason and hide behind whatever cause they feel justified
in promoting this week.
It is time to put pressure, financial and otherwise, to all people in the
world who depend upon the United States for any reason whatsoever for their
help in finding and bringing to justice, in this world or the next, those
responsible for this unprecedented act of violence against the men, women,
children, and environment in our country.
Those who have planed and executed this event of mass destruction have opened
the gates of Hell. They will soon realize that we Americans are not a group
of lazy pushovers whose sole response is to carry a picket sign and boycott
something and who will put up with anything so as not to offend the feelings
of others. Those days have ended permanently today. They have no one to blame
for their fate but themselves.
I urge every American to write and call their elected officials to encourage
and demand an effective, proper, and final response to any state that harbors
such criminal groups. They destroyed a few buildings, it is only appropriate
that we destroy a few of their cities, if only as a lesson. Just like
Hiroshima and Nagasaki ended the Japanese use of comfort women to service
their troops. This event can be used to end the faceless cowards, and the
people who support them, future attempts to destroy and harm innocent people.
Make the cost for harboring such people so great that no nation will ever be
willing to pay that price.
Our country has come together and the President, at this time, speaks with
one voice for all Americans. Our internal differences end at our boarders.
A very big thank you to all who have offered condolences and sympathy. Your
words of comfort have great meaning beyond the life of old sports cars.
And, please, a moment of silence to all the Firefighters, Police Officers,
and others who have vowed to serve and protect and who have lost their lives
in the execution of those responsibilities.
They gave their lives so others wouldn't have to.
