Thinking of you

Post by Michael Card » Tue Sep 11, 2001 8:19 pm

To all our US list members
My family and I were horrified to learn of the events in New York, Washington, and Philadelphia yesterday.
Our thoughts are with you and your countrymen.

Thank you Michael. This terrible day reinforces to me what's important; my family and friends. Everything else is nice, but not necessary. Captain Edward Dunn Boeing 767-757 American Airlines

Thank you all for your kind words and expressions of support. That means more than you can imagine for those of us who have loved ones living and working near the attack. As bad as yesterdays events seem, they are nowhere near the agony suffered by you in the UK and Europe during the Blitz and the occupation of the homelands of our friends on the continent. As a child I recall the desperate voice of the announcer as he told of yet another nightly bombing and ravishing of London and Coventry The walk through bombed out London by Churchhill during the worst of it will forever be in my mind a beacon for all of us through tragic times. Thank you all for your concern and to all thanks for standing steadfast when it was you being knocked about. Best Regards To All Dick

Thank you for you kind thoughts. I have been reading the comments from the list tonight and have to say that I am proud to be a part of such a caring and patriotic group. My heart and my prayers go out to all who have felt this personally, as a father of a 737 pilot,I can only imagine the anguish that those pilots must have felt. The MG cars bring this group together, but it's the people that make the magic and the caring. Thanx again Fig

This goes to all from South Africa, as we grieve with you all over this senseless act. And as you know we have had this on a minor scale compared to the USA. Strength to you all.
