Mr. Badger - I knew that on the heels of the KY jelly saga, that I was on thin ice asking any question involving 6.5 or 11 inches. Nope, not a trick question, I'm trying to reassemble somebody else's take apart. Cordially, Tom TC 0535

Hi All - Does anyone know how many leaves there are in a TC rear spring? *According to the MG engineering drawings there are 9 leaves in each spring: 1-3/16" thick, 1-1/4" thick, and 7 7/32" thick. Static load is 476#, with the spring being flat at a load of 385#. The total axle movement is 4.187" Abingdon catalogue and Sherrill look like 9 to me, my 2 boxes of bits have 9 in one and 10 in the other. Is the bottom leaf 6.5 or 11 inches? *The short (bottom) leaf is 7" long, 3 1/2" on either side of the center bolt. And lastly, the P/N for the spring was MG.876 That's alllllllllll Folks! Ray McCrary "Speed is Life; of course Luck and Altitude are helpful, too."
