I am trying to find someone who can engrave the numbers (in the same
style as original) onto a reproduction name plates for my TA. I bought
the plates from NTG but they have never been able to find someone to put
the numbers on the plates. The car came as a basket case with the plates
missing, I have the serial number from the frame, and the original
engine plate number, also the original body frame number from carved
into the wood frame. However I thin I am missing a body number. The car
was build in the fall of 1938. Any suggestions.

Dear Ted & Group,
I can stamp the numbers back in your repro name plates as original.
Please contact me for further details off line or call. I can also
supply a brass body number plate.

I don't know how the process works, but you need to have the type copied and
then acid etched into the new plates. Bob TC4956

Ted
Send or contact Mike Marjot on the list and he can fill the rest
of it in, his E mail address is
MikeMajot@aol.com, if you will give
the body number to him, or if necessary send it to me, along with
the engine number and chassis, he/we can determine the rest, probably.
Cheers Dean Illinois
