Does anyone have experience of the UK Company - Millers Oils? They make a first class additive/octane booster to use with lead-free petrol which I use and now I'm thinking of giving their engine and gearbox oils a try. Kind Regards

Hi chaps,
Valvoline makes a very good 20/50 Oil. I use it since the late sixties.
It's called Valvoline All Climate 20W50 and costs here at the local dealer
30,00 Euros for 5 liters. They eaven supply the 20/50 as Valvoline Racing which
is a little bit more expensive.
For gearbox and diff I use special oils Miller's from UK, who supplies 20/50
for engines too.
Best regards.

Hi Oliver,
Many MG T C owners are using 20W50 oil. This is not available now
in the normal European shops and super markets. So I am using 15W40 as a
running in oil after engine rebuild. But I can not report you any experience
so far. If the engine is in good shape I can recommend it. If the wear and
tear is too much I may go for next grade.

Why not? Always assuming that you really need hot weather oil.

Jim:
20./50 is just fine for all of these cars in our western climate. Even if
the temp gets to 120 degrees.
I speak from experience.
Cheers:
