The power of the list and chassis frame parts

Last month I asked the list for a source for the 1/4" swaged P-clips that
hold the fuel line on the bulkhead and the chassis of the TC, Mark Jablonski
in Australia told me that Bill Hentzen in Wisconsin had a supply. Bill wrote
back that he indeed had made a run of 1000 clips and that he had supplied
Sports and Vintage Motors in Shrewsbury, England with a number of them. A
quick call and credit card transaction means that I now have them in my hand,
- truly a testament to the power of the list. Around the world and they were
in my own back yard! My sincere thanks to Mark and Bill.
On another topic; about 3 months ago someone was asking about chassis parts
for a TA. At Silverstone this year I met with a company that claimed to
source all chassis frame components for T-types: side rails, cross members,
brackets, etc,. etc. I have no knowledge of their service, however their
details are as follows:
Russ Trueman
Yorkshire Chassis Services
Unit 6
Holly Park Mill
Woodhall Road
Calverley
Leeds LS28 5QS

John I also spoke to that chassis parts man at Silverstone, and bought a pair of TC rear damper brackets from him [used originals]. His address is in the same complex as is Ian Murley, who assembles and skins Hutson body kits, and who has supplied me with two TC body tubs in recent years. Interesting.
