Dear Group thanks for all the offline help. . . It might have even been of general interest. . . I'm on my way to more pleasant driving, with the help of the local club we'll get 'Sally' & 'Cindie' running smoother and then we'll learn how to make the voltage regulator do as its supposed to. My cranking arm isn't what it was. And for some reason the Cranks for several of my cars have grown legs. I have only one which fortunately fits the TC, TF and Morris Pickup. Look for me at car shows, the lady with a crank handle in her purse. As for the Man with the TF and long legs: I found a rolled pillow or in my case a stuffed Teddy Bear, large enough to support your knees just in front of the seat extremely helpful. And like Airline seats the backrest benefits from a rolled towel at the small of the back. And our cars had the seat stuffings replaced with high density foam instead of the original arrangement. . .Still lookes the same but firmer and very cost effective. I keep them out of sight at shows and put them in place after I get in. I also made a wedge footrest for the passenger side so that the feet may be braced for riding a distance, while still having enough room to get knees through the door. Thanks again all of you. . . . Sally
