To the first T-ABC club member who can identify the part shown in the
accompanying photograph by model and year of the vehicle to which it
belongs (or a reasonably close approximation) and its function, I will
award a copy of the excellent MG Workshop Manual, commonly referred to
as the "Blowers manual", which covers all MG models from M type to the
TF. This is a tenth edition copy in good condition and includes all
charts and foldouts. The dust jacket is lightly soiled but not torn.
 No hints.

Re: A SPORTIN' OFFER
No doubt about it. A pre WWII waffle iron (circa1938) appropriately adapted
to reflect the octagon logo (more commonly referred to as a "badge[r]",
alternatively, a toasted sandwich maker with cheese artistically outlining
the octagon logo, but sans bread (circa 1941?). In either event, the model
was related to the highly respected and acclaimed Cream Cracker team.

An excellent guess Joe and my second waffle iron entry but, I'm sorry to
 say, incorrect.

I would like to add that this is an original part. Not replica, not
 aftermarket, and not modified.

Re: A SPORTIN' OFFER
It's a waffle-maker with the MG logo on it -- about '50 vintage. Do I win?
