MGTC 10 mile stops

Thanks to all advisors,
I have had 3 test runs, 2 x 15 miles and a 30 mile motorway (interstate) blast with no problems. I have overhauled, tested, cleaned or replaced the fuel & ignition systems which was mostly repeating what I had done over the past 3 years.
I suspect the fault was the condensor which I had previously replaced using a new"old stock" baseplate with integral condensor which may well have been badly stored or just one of joseph lucas's jokes. This time I replaced it with a modern one from Harry at the OCC.
Anyhow I hope to drive to Silverstone this coming Sunday , a round trip of some 200 miles which should test the the "old gal" as well as the "ancient mariner" behind the wheel.
