Roger Furneaux's Wheel Bearing Nuts

Post by Roger Muir » Fri Jun 15, 2001 12:07 am

I use Roger F's nuts!. They do work!! However one word of warning. The speedy sleeve that Roger supplys for the splined shaft needs to be CAREFULLY glued into place. I made mistakes with mine when fixing them and a samll amount of oil seeped through the tiny gap left between the sleeve and th shaft splines. Some remedial work (took some time) and I managed to seal them completely with a special thin silicone sealer. (The sealant would flow, so that it would seep into the tiny gaps, and took a long time to harden unlike the type ~DIY" stores sell to seal baths. Be careful with them and they work just great!. Regards to you Roger (F) Best Wishes Roger Muir Bromsgrove UK
