Hi Earl
If two specialists founded no problems at your Instrument, you have to test the
rest.
How have you routed the cable? Are there sharp bents? If the routing is okay,
you may have a problem in the reduction gearbox. The louder noises with the new
cable can come, if the "drive-nipple" runs not centered.
Can you test a reduction gearbox of a other T-Owner?

Perhaps your gas pedal is sticking.

Hi Badger!
Thanks for the good hint. You must know, I m electrican. So I know just high and low.
In my car it means: always pedal to the metal or brake action. Nothing else
between.

That s maybe the failture.
