Gene, I run the lean needles in my car because of the elevation here in Colorado. I would expect a bit better mileage at any elevation due to the ratio of gas/atmosphere. At your location, you could experience a small change in the mileage to the better. I vaguely remember something about the quality of gasoline now is much better than that in the late 40's and early 50's. This also has something to do with the carb adjustments in that we can adjust for greater accuracy and better mileage. I imagine Joe Curto, the list's expert on carbs would be able to expand on all of this. My best, Ben Cordsen, TC 4260
