thanks to those that sent info on how to make engine crank however I got two sizes for the rod stock one said 5/8" the other said 3/4" maybe it is the differece in TC and TD. If some one could check and let me know it would be great . Thsnks for the help. Rolland Meismer TC #3409-TD#5522

Thanks:Austin for the info I think I will try to build a pr. one for each car, I have the torch and lathe and should not be a problem. Rolland

Rolland, the dimension for both cranks ('46 and '49 TC) was .620", or .005 under 5/8" (.625").
