my TA.s clutch is stuck

Jonathan I expect the cork plate has dried out and the oil become more like glue. But these plates are surprisingly tough and you may be able to jolt it off the driven plate by using the starting handle, assuming that you can engage a gear (ignition off!) I did it this way with my old TA, but it does depend on just how hard it's stuck. If you get it off, run the engine regularly, the clutch needs the oil. Incidentally, if you do finish up taking the clutch out, it's the putting back that is the most delicate: if you have an original alloy bellhousing, the final tightening up is the nearest thing you can get to bomb disposal: you MUST make sure that the clutch withdrawal fork is correctly located otherwise --- whoops, there goes another TA bellhousing Regards Tony TC9825 (ex TA 1001) Birmingham UK
