Inspection Sockets

Does anyone know where I can buy the little red and green fiber
isolating washers for the inspection sockets on the dash. I see the
sockets are available for about $50. My sockets are like new. It is the
washers that haven't survived. Or any other ideas? Thanks.

Dear Barc,
I picked up a pair of inspection sockets with plastic
insulating washers (I thought they were red and black,
and not red and green as you mentioned)here in
Bangalore, India, for 5 rupees a pair - thats about 11
cents. They're used here on radios and televisions. On
comparison with photos of the TC dashboard, my
inspection sockets look spot on. If you send me your
forwarding address, I could send you a pair. If
they're right, then we make a killing on the
inspection socket market.
