Have any of our UK contingent possibly have an oil pump for an MPJG engine. Condition, provided it is not too rough, not important as I will have it overhauled. Regards Roger Muir (Bromsgrove UK)

Does anyone know of someone selling replacement gears for the MPJG oil pump? Has anyone had any experience modifying the pump. At first glance, it appears to me that the gears used in the TC engines are similar, it look like the only difference is the length, with the TC being longer, is it possible to shorten the TC gear to make them fit or work. Any and all suggestion would be appreciated, if you have had any experience rebuilding the oil pump on the TA engine. Dean [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Dean, Steven Brookes of SES Engineering rebuilds TA oil pumps, he makes new gears etc and machines the housing. He rebuilt one for me a while ago. However you may have to wait a while before he can do it, as he waits until he has about 10 pumps to rebuild before setting his machine up to do it. The charge was around 95 UK Pounds last time I had one done. He rebuilds VA pumps as well aand would probably do TC oil pumps. His website is www.sesparts.freeuk.com and a contact e-mail address can be found there. Best wishes, Brian Rainbow, Leamington Spa, U.K. TA2551 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

I expect any competent engineering firm would be able to shorten the gears but I expect they would have to grind them to size as they are hardened. Ian Thomson. -------------------
