Rear Spring bushings ...

I bought the plastic (polyurethane?) rear upper spring bushings from Abingron
Spares. When I tried them on, they are about 1/2 in too long. I am told
that these bushings may need to be cut to size. Could anyone from the list
give me the exact measurement as to the length of the bushing?
