Rear Spring bushings ...

I bought the plastic (polyurethane?) rear upper spring bushings from Abingron Spares. When I tried them on, they are about 1/2 in too long. I am told that these bushings may need to be cut to size. Could anyone from the list give me the exact measurement as to the length of the bushing? Thanks in advance for your help ... Jan Cadik TC/8333.
