Barry Walker phone number

Post by Jorolibb@aol.com » Tue Feb 20, 2001 6:05 pm

Dear list, How do I dial to call Barry Walker in England from the U.S. I know you start off with 011 44 1789 400181. Is there a city code to put in there somewhere? I assume it would be the same for the fax number being 1789 400230. I have not had any success with trying to contact him, and unfortunatley, I need to. John Libbert

That should be the correct number, dialing from the US. Fax number is correct as well. I am assumming that you are NOT dialing the 0 before the 1789. Larry long

John: I would be very careful in dealing with Barry Walker. I and several of my MG friends had some very bad experiences with "The Highwayman". I would not trust him ever again!!!!! Skip Kelsey.................................. At 06:05 PM 2/20/01, Jorolibb@aol.com wrote:

Joe: I really got irritated by the article in the current MG Car Club magazine which called him " the most respected MG person". Thats a bloody laugh!!! Skip.......................................... At 09:59 AM 2/21/01, JoeCurto@aol.com wrote:

Er......perhaps we should clue the magazine in to what a crook the guy really is, and what his rep is in America. I'll do it. Does anyone have the MG Car Club mags email address? Best, Ray "Speed is Life; of course Luck and Altitude are helpful, too."

One goes to Barry for what one needs and sometimes he is the only one who has it, but one needs to see in person the merchandise, fondle it and take it away with out Barry getting his bloody hands on it again (to substitute something else or worse). Keep in mind that some few folks swear by this guy and have had good success with him.....Caution is the watchword. TA
