I want to thank the several list members that responded to my "assembly questions" awhile back. The responses were extremely helpful and have helped figuring out this jig-saw puzzle often referred to as a basket case TC. Here's a couple more questions/requests. 1. Does anybody know where I can find (or does anybody have some I can buy) the screws and nuts that attach the hood latches to the hood panels? These are a machine screw with a full round head (with a Whitworth thread) about 1/2 inches long. The nuts are the thick Whitworth size nuts. I have 4 of each and need 4 more of each. 2. Does anybody know where I could purchase (or have one I could purchase) the screw or pin that mounts the gas cap to the tank? Apparently it is a flat head or round headed screw. Mark: You can get the bress machine screw and nuts from Abindon Spares. The part number is 41-056B. While some of us use chrome machine screws, myself included, the original was brass. I used a stainless cotter pin although a stainless or brass nut and machine screw would probably be original. A good hardware store should have them. Probably 4-40 or 2-56 would be the correct size.
