Just when you all thought this subject had been "put to bed" I just looked at the picture Cliff Knight mentioned in Malcolm Green's book MG Sportscars and the young lady in question is definately using an air powered drill ,NOT an air powered screwdriver as he sugests. I am no expert on "Y" types but the factory parts book lists part number 129524 "clip - front door liner" x 38 as being the method of holding the front door trims in place, 23 of the same part being used to secure the rear door trims, NOT a bunch of phillips head screws.
