T-ABC Body Numbers

Cliff Knight during the recent strand on Phillips screws in MG cars mentioned that Y type bodies were not made at Morris Bodies shop. Does anyone know off hand which cars, MG or otherwise, were made at the Morris Bodies plant between 1936 when the TA started and 1949 when the TC finished? Apart form TAs, Bs and Cs of course. I have a feeling some Riley bodies were made there post war. Presumably any car in the Morris/Austin empire which had a wood frame tub would have had it constructed there. Does anyone know anything about the body numbers which went with such cars. I ask because it seems likely to me that the batch/sequence numbers imprinted on the timbers of T types (body number suffix) were in fact part of a general scheme which covered all bodies made by the Morris Bodies facility. Does anyone know of any book which covers these sorts of details in respect of the Nuffield empire and its successors. Mike Marjot TB 0450
