My TA had countersunk machine screws right through both upper and lower body frame and door frames. At least one (I can't remember which - lower I would think) was drilled through the body frame as well. I think they were 1/4 Whit but memory may be failing on that one. Cliff

Charles, I am also in the throws of fitting the doors - and the lock/striker which I am finding by far the greater challenge. Upper hinge (body side) - two machine screws and one thick wood screw Upper hinge (door side) - two machine screws Lower hinge (body side) - two thick wood screws Lower hinge (door side) - two machine screws I drilled out the old wood screw holes and packed with 10mm lined dowel. Works a treat. The locks I find more of an issue. The door fits fine, and the striker plate is screwed using the original backing plate and onto the frame - but when I offer the door lock (also using the original backing plates and holes in original wood!) I can not get enough depth to engage onto the striker. To make them at the same level (the striker wedge and the lock) I have to mount the lock on 1/2 inch of padding! Can't figure this out.
