To all,
I have been able to find information on the original registration of my
car at the above link. I also use it to verify the registration dates of cars
found in the reference material and their original license locations.
Occasionally the site will give exact dates in addition to the year.

Bob,
My guess would be this is a re-registration. The only way to get the
information you are looking for is to locate the factory or sales records
that to the best of my knowledge no longer exist. Perhaps others in our group

Bob,
I have not been able to find access to the information cross matched with
registration numbers and car type/serial numbers. I have looked deep enough
to suspect these records do not exist or have not been entered on a
searchable database. Too bad, this would be useful information to have.
Perhaps some other members of the group would have some ideas?
