UK Registrations

Post by Bob Grunau » Mon Jan 29, 2001 6:54 am

Hi All, Some time ago a web site was given which allowed UK plates to be identified. I lost the information when my previous computer died a violent death. I am trying to determine my UK Registration for my 1933 J2, J-3017. I received plates NYV-881 with the car but the previous owner owned many English cars so I have no idea if this plate belongs to the J2 or not. Any help on how to trace the plate appreciated. The site is newreg.com you can go to the section "was it issued" enter your reg. no. and mostly you will get the issuing authority and the date of issue (or the date range for series that were issued slowly) Alan Webster
