TC For Sale
I decided to sell my TC, what's the best way to offer it? I've owned it since 92 and it's served me well but times have changed and it's time for it to serve a new owner. Thanks, Ron .

Re: TC For Sale
Ron, Sorry to see you get rid of your TC. I'm amused when you say it will serve a new owner. My experience is that the owners serve the MGs. Dan Harmer '48 TC # 5122 San Diego

TC for sale
A good friend of mine in New Orleans is having to put his 1947 MG TC (TC 2730) up for sale. The price is $18,500.
I will be getting an email later in the day with photos and a description of the car which I will post to the list as well as the TABC site. Anyone who wants to get a jump on everyone else can contact Mike Lewis via email at mg50ytype@aol.com or via cell at (504) 710-9291. Mike is not the owner but has worked on/maintained the car for over 25 years and can answer your questions better than the owner can now.
The car is an excellent driver with new brakes, Alfin drums (purchased within the last 5 years) and very few modifications. I would venture to say that due to the age of the present owner it s not been driven 200 miles since the drums were purchased.
Again, I ll post photos and a description on the site as soon as I get them from Mike.
Respectfully,

Re: TC for sale
Here s more info on the car still waiting on the photos.
Note: The original engine # was 3364 (off the bulkhead plate). The engine was changed way back when in England and Mike has been unable to find a serial number on it. It appears to be a later TD engine with the block drain forward of the exhaust.
Best regards,
Gene Gillam

TC for sale
TC for sale Everyone – I know of a reasonably nice ’46 C for sale here in Indiana. $25,000 is asking price. It’s near Bloomington Indiana, and was just brought back to running after a long nap. The mechanic said it’s a very nice driver, not concours, and mechanically good. I haven’t seen it. If you’re in the market send me a note off list. Tom Wilson

Fw: TC for sale
A member of our MG club here in the San Francisco area has died and the family wants to sell his project TC. There are a lot of pictures as you can see:
For Sale: 1949 MG TC project car. Clear title. See photos for all of the parts we have for it. Death of owner forces sale. (Bear with me, because I'm selling the car for the family and won't be able to answer technical questions!) You'll find pictures here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/159937193@N04/shares/TCLgkuAsking $7,000 or best offer. Please contact Mark at cartercarproject@yahoo.com 415 297 3456
