What an interesting picture – I have never seen it before – the resemblance to a low light Morris Minor is quite marked at the front – the rest like a Wolseley 4/44 perhaps?Anyway I wonder who designed it - from the general appearance and Morris Minor looks it may have been Issigonis?I checked my copy of “Auto Architect” - the biography of the fabulous designer Gerald Palmer (who I indirectly worked for in the 60’s at Vauxhall). He doesn’t mention the car – he has his proposals for the “MGA” – see attached – PS – like the book itself – I have not intended to infringe any copyright with these extracts – I can recommend the book itself – available via the internet – Magna Press – edited by Christopher Balfour.Regards Peter Fry22 McEwan RoadPark OrchardsVIC 3114AustraliaHome +61 (0)3 9876 1520Mobile +61 (0)411 894

Welcome to our 1199th member Clare, Paddy----paddyclare@blueyonder.co.uk---Gunnislake,Cornwall,England 1937 TZ 1538 XPAG 4037 who writes: Having just taken ownership of a MG TA, I am keen to join like-minded MG enthusiasts! I took a trip to see Roger Furneaux to purchase a set of his excellent drive shaft seal kits and he told me about this club, so here I am! This particular car came from the USA where I believe it was restored before recently returning to the UK where the engine was exchanged to the current unit. I have next to no histort about this car, and would appreciate any which you or your members may have! === and - our 1200th member Kerrison, Peter----peter.kerrison@btinternet.com--Andover, Hampshire, UK 1949 TC 8249 XPAG 8932 who writes I'm new to MGs, having just taken on responsibility for a 1949 TC, chassis TC8249, engine XPAG8932. The car's not in bad condition, having been in storage for about 20 years, but needs some TLC to get it up to speed - as do I! I'm not the owner, he lives in the Galapagos, but I'm getting it sorted and back on the road in exchange for getting the use of it. A local TC enthusiast, Richard Howell, has recommended that I ask to join this group, which is what I'm doing! I'm in Hampshire, near to Andover, in the UK === and - If your car is dripping oil - try
