No problem. I'll pose a question:

I' m thinking of going through my engine when I remove it to address
some transmission issues. I was supposedly rebuilt a few thousand miles
ago but based on the condition of the other mechanicals, I suspect some
needs may have been ignored.

I'm looking for a smooth running, reliable street engine with a bit more
torque. I assume that overboring would help address this. What's the
maximum recommended size? Are there aftermarket cams that can provide
more torque/power? What are the recommended mods for reliability?

Thanks!

JP

Okay...my turn to test...NOTHING from the group today but if I go into Yahoo
Groups I see a lot of new mail. Could someone please reply if they get this
via Yahoo Groups?

Thanks...

OK, Well, we'll try this for a test-
Has anyone else seen this new 'ebay motors' overhaul?
They must be trying to appeal to the late-model buyers, with some
association with Kelley Blue Book. The listings are now based on car types,
dollar amount you want to spend, etc. Its pretty awkward to find parts; I
put in 'mg-tc' and got something like 1500 hits. Maybe I'm missing some
benefit, other that pushing the high dollar modern stuff...
