Who wants a car they have to worry about? A TC unused is an insult to its designers!

Any car without dirt in the arches is the sign of a sick mind. ;)

People buy $78,000 Mercedes SUV and drive them everyday, why not the MG?       In a message dated 12/31/2013 7:01:13 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, mgpsmith@att.net writes:

Steve,
A man after my own heart. My TC is a Driver and has done some long (1000 mile plus) round trips.  It gets dirty and the paint gets a chip every now and then. Will it win a car show? No although it does get occasional minor gong but the competition has to be weak :-).  Do I love it? More than any other car I've ever had. It's rewarded the time and money spent on it 1000 times over with enjoyment touring this fabulous country together.  TC Gremlin rest on a hoist in our garage sitting above the child bride's MX5. I often look up when getting into the daily drive and note the mud stains under the guards and think I must clean them off, but as fast as I clean it, the stains are replaced with new ones.....

Well, the oily drips from the TC will help preserve the MX 5.

Happy New Year to all  T members! For what it is worth, regardless of the price, I think this looks like a very neat car, bit over- done here and there -all the screw heads of the dash lined up :-) and some  other paint flaws- but still a delight to look at its pictures.Don t forget it is sold at "fantasy junction so the price may reflect that. I would not mind having it in my garage and get some dirt on the fenders!Looking at my own  TC restoration costs it shows again you hardly ever get  your third party expenses back when selling a near perfect  restored TC! Thanks Bill for bringing it up!DirkTC 0660, in gloomy Hamburg

Hi Murray and all other members,First of all let me wish you all a happy and Prosperus 2014.There is a saying in Germen. " wer rast der rostet " That means those who sleep get rusted. I heard a another Duch saying " it is better get worn out than getting rusted ".I think that we MG T- owners can opt this. Let us drive our T-A, B or C before it start getting rusted. We also had to be active and fit so that the T- drivers also do not get rusted. So let me pray that all T-drivers remain healthy and cars accident free.

Hi Murray,There was an news that in Greece, the Mercedes S-class AMG 66 for dealers new price was listed 22'000 . Now they want to go to Europiean court for price manipulation. So here no one pay the full list price for new cars. French go about 40% below list price.

Good morning all;  I just glanced at this car and did not notice anything that is incorrect. The price certainly does seem high, but it appears to be extremely high quality work. I hope the seller gets his price, it just makes my car worth that much more.  I like the look of a very pure car, but it would be worry some for me to drive it much. On the other hand my car is not very pure, and I am really enjoying it! When I finished my car last year it was appraised by the insurance company for slightly over half of the price of the one that is for sale.  What is the price for purity and what is the price for fun? It is really up to the individual to determine what they want.  Have a great day and HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM COLORADO!!!!!!  Bud SilversTC 1576 – Low n slo in the Black Forest of Colorado……..

I am so used to seeing rexine-covered dash panels with the bronze colored instrument cluster that it struck me as odd that this car had a black instrument cluster.  Does the collective "we" know if rexine with a black cluster was a common occurrence?  I recall driving my TC on New Years Day in 2000.  Not this year.  Going on 4" of snow and counting.  Happy New Year to all.  Wrenches & ale,
