G'day Ross,

I don't know if anything official has come out yet, but the date is now
more or less fixed and the meeting is likely to be between the weekends
of the British Grand Prix (for how much longer this will keep going!)
and the Coy's meeting. So the likely date is the third weekend in July
(as per this year).

You'll be assured of a warm welcome on the MG Car Club T Register stand
which is situated in the MG Car Club marquee(as is everybody from the
"Colonies") even though it will probably be p---ing down outside.

Best Wishes,

JOHN JAMES (TC0750)

I expect it will take them sometime to come up with a
firm date Ross as they often have to work around other
more lucrative users i.e F1.

I've heard tentative rumors the MG Silverstone date is June 23, 24, 25 2006.
Same date as the big Gatlinburg meeting in the USA, which is June 21, 22,
23, 24 2006. Bummer.

Dear Group!

When and where are we all meeting again for a photo-op in Silverstone? My
wife and I and some friends are flying over to experience this great event and
very much looking forward to it and seeing as many of you as possible!

Alan & David
Rachel and I plan to be there also. We unexpectedly had to come to England and had to cancel our planned trip to Gatlinburg but the "consolation" is that we get to go to our old haunt of Silverstone.
Looking forward to putting faces to names.
Cheers,

BTW The movie "Land Girls" was on TV last night and there was a fantastic hair raising sequence of a Spitfire over Exmoor. A red P-type also featured. All in the three minute segment I happened to see.

David and Peter,

You'll receive a warm welcome on the T Register stand in the main marquee.
I'll be there at crack of dawn on Friday (we are always the first Register
to 'set up shop') until close of play on Sunday.

If you are around on the Friday we have a Register get together with a few
refreshments and 'nibbles' at around 5.30 pm.

Look forward to meeting you!

JOHN JAMES

MG Car Club 'T' Register Regalia Secretary.
