1948 TC, 1953 TD, two 1960 MGAs, and a 1967 MGB. Still looking for a TF.

Hello group,

Aaah,Keynsham! Anyone old enough to remember Horace Batchelor and
his "Infra Draw Method" on Radio Luxembourg? Or the Bonzo Dog
album?

length) Lodge

Yes, David, I remember Radio Luxembourg.

In those days when commercial radio stations were considered works of the
devil by the British government, it felt very daring to listen to Radio L.
broadcasting from continental Europe.

Used to get some good Swing, too: the BBC didn't play much like that back
then.

Then came pirate radio stations just outside territorial waters, and
eventually the Govt yielded.

Now I'm in Sydney where there must be 40 commercial stations . . .and I try
not to listen to any of them!

I bought the car in England in 1973 after a long series of University student

paid 280 pounds for it. Took it apart in 1979 or so and stored it in a trailer
where it remains today. Hope to get at it as a retirement project in a few
years.

Question: I need the air cleaner canister and air cleaner inlet manifold. I
see Andy King in England advertising the canister. Had any dealings with him
or know where I can find these two items?

Details will soon be posted on the CLASSIFED page of our website. In the

===and - concerning an embroidered T-ABC patch:

I received responses from several members indicating a demand for
about 150
patches. The $2 cost per patch was predicated upon an order of 500
patches.
I am in the process of negotiating a price for 250 patches, but it
will probably
result in a slight increase in the $2 cost per patch. I will keep you
posted.
