If the wood screws have stripped, take a 1/8" oak dowel, taper the end to a
point, put wood glue on it, and hammer it into the hole til it's solid. it
will now hold the screw again,

Another "fix" involves dilling a larger hole and then inserting a brass
threaded insert like the ones cabinet makers use. They have a rather
agressive wood thread on the out side and machine threads on the inside.
Usually available in the Lowes hardware section. Jim

Clearly a case of skirting the issue about the model type. However, the
pointed head lights and safety belts round the thighs are outstanding!
