Re: Update from Jim
I'm pretty new at this myself, but my recollection is that the grill color should match the interior, which on a '49 should also match the rexine dash. Correct?

I recently received email from a member concerning the recent proliferation of
non-T-ABC messages. He suggested that we should restrict meaningless
chatter that isn't of a technical nature.
My response to this member was:
I and most others agree with you, and we have tried to persuade those few
offending members to desist. With over 500 members, it is to be expected
that we would have a few non-conformists. The only sure solution is to
remove them from the roster, but I really hate to do that. I will, as I
have in the past, make another plea in my next "Update from Jim".

Re: Update from Jim
For what it's worth, a number of people have inquired about the lovely
painting of a TC cruising on the cover of the AAA magazine that we
reproduced (after doctoring in and removing the magazine's logo and other
printing that was superimposed on it) and made into "printable" form for for
some who wanted to frame them....I've posted a "clean" copy of this on the
T-ABC photo site for anyone else who might want to do the same. This copy
is suitable for an 8X10 reproduction to be printed on glossy paper.
There is a much larger version, suitable for poster size reproduction that I
didn't post, as I didn't know whether the Yahoo site had a limit on download
size. I can e-mail a copy of that one (about 980 pixels) to anyone else who
might want to make their own.

Message: (please tell us why you are leaving please)
You should now start receiving T-ABC email messages from other members. If
you don't receive any messages in a day or two, please let me know.
That's it ! Any questions just email Jim Shade - FDShade@aol.com
====Oh, one more thing
PLEASE restrict your messages to T-ABC related matters. With over 500
members, extraneous email messages can become distracting.
Also, if you want to advertise a service or product, please send your
advertisement to Walter for posting on our "classified" page. Then send a
short email to the List alerting members to the ad.
===and that's all from
